However, there are natural remedies that can make them look as good as new again and you won’t need a lot of money.

The remedy for old and dull wood
As we have said, there are natural products that can be used to treat wooden furniture. Specifically they are going to polish them and also remove stains. Today we will look in particular at a polishing treatment made only with natural products that you will probably find in your kitchen.

However, before starting with this, remember to dust and clean your wooden furniture. These two steps are essential before polishing. To dust you can use a wool jumper that attracts dust and to clean you can use Marseille soap.

Now you can move on to the polishing treatment and to prepare it you will need: 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of vinegar (you can increase the doses depending on the amount you need). Mix these two ingredients well and then with the help of a soft bristled brush, brush it all over the wooden furniture.

Leave for a few hours and then wipe with a woollen cloth to rinse. Remember to always test it first on an inconspicuous part of the furniture to make sure it is not damaged and to get the desired effect. Here the furniture is as good as new. Other natural remedies
As we said, the two products listed above can also be used individually and they are not the only ones. These are the ones you can use:

Vinegar : can be used alone together with a damp, well wrung out microfibre cloth. Pour a few drops on it and wipe in circular motions to nourish the wood. Apple cider vinegar is excellent for this job.
Olive oil : this ingredient is excellent for wood because it nourishes it deeply. In this case, put a few drops on a cotton pad and wipe over the affected areas. Leave it to act for a few minutes. Then wipe with a dry woollen cloth.
Baking soda and vinegar
Lemon juice : with the help of a damp microfibre cloth, wipe the lemon juice all over the surface of the wooden furniture. It will be shiny in no time.
Marseille soap and baking soda : of these two you need 2 tablespoons and 2 tablespoons dissolved in 500 ml of water. Then take a cloth and pour this solution over it and in addition to polishing the furniture it will be super clean.
Whatever natural product you decide to use, always remember to test it on a hidden area. This step is essential to avoid ruining the furniture.
