When washing clothes, it is often necessary to add a product to help whiten the fabrics completely. In most cases, bleach is replaced by natural, less aggressive and certainly more sustainable remedies.

To whiten your clothes, you can follow some infallible tricks! Find out how.

Use baking soda
To whiten your clothes in a natural and sustainable way, you can use baking soda. This is a very effective ingredient that was used by our grandmothers in the past. We recommend adding 1 tablespoon of baking soda to the washing machine drum and continue washing, the result will be immediately visible and your clothes will appear brighter!

Opt for hydrogen peroxide
Alternatively, you can also use hydrogen peroxide to whiten your clothes. This substance, in fact, manages to penetrate the fabrics and completely remove even the most stubborn stains. It is preferable to add 2 tablespoons to the washing machine and proceed with the wash.

Add white vinegar to your clothes
Another natural remedy for washing clothes is white vinegar. Your clothes will look like new and immediately look whiter and brighter. Simply put 1 tablespoon of vinegar in the basket and proceed with the washing. To create a natural softener solution as well, you can mix vinegar with a few drops of essential oil.

Use sodium percabonate
Sodium percabonate also has excellent bleaching properties, so it is perfect for washing clothes. Add 1 scoop into the washing machine drum and you will get an amazing result! We remind you that percarbonate must be used at a minimum temperature of 40 degrees, otherwise it will not work properly.

Lemon juice is an excellent remedy.
To whiten your clothes efficiently you can also add 2 tablespoons of well-filtered lemon juice to your wash. You can put it directly into the detergent drawer and start washing – you will immediately get an excellent result and your clothes will look as good as new!

Use tea tree oil
Have you ever heard of this natural remedy? It is a product with excellent cleaning and antibacterial properties. It can quickly whiten clothes and make them smell great.

We recommend adding 1 teaspoon of tea tree oil along with 1 tablespoon of baking soda. This mixture will allow you to get clean and fragrant clothes. You can add the mixture to the detergent drawer and activate the type of wash you prefer – the result will be amazing!
