If you want to make flypaper at home, you need to get:
100ml. of castor oil
200 grams. of a special resin, rosin
1 tablespoon of honey
wax paper or wrapping paper
Method
Before you start preparing the flypaper it is best to remember that it will be very sticky so it is best to wear gloves before you go out. So, the first thing you need to do is to get the right paper for the purpose. You can get wax paper or wrapping paper. Then you have to cut some strips and the recommended size is about 30 cm by 5 cm.

Now take two saucepans that you will only use to create flypaper. Place the saucepans in a bain-marie and melt the vegetable resin. Once this is done, also add the castor oil and honey. Once you have created the fly killing compound, soak the strips of paper and then hang them on tree branches, next to windows, under the gazebo, etc… in the places you frequent.

To soak the strips it is best to use a pair of tweezers which you will keep for future occasions.
