In fact, when the warmer months arrive, flies and mosquitoes come back to invade the home and can often cause problems for plants too. Fortunately, this remedy manages to keep them away, while ensuring a wonderful scent throughout the flat.
Coarse salt
The first thing to do is to get a small glass container, into which we pour about five tablespoons of coarse salt. It should not be a problem to retrieve the coarse salt, as this ingredient is already present in most kitchens.
After filling the container with coarse salt (about half full), we should add some fabric softener inside the glass container.
We can use the product we use to ensure that our clothes always remain fragrant. Just add a little bit to the glass container and shake lightly so that the liquid goes down.
As soon as the fabric softener has disappeared we can add the third ingredient that characterises this solution, cloves. Add a handful and add more coarse salt until the cloves are covered.
After having covered well, add the softener again, always making sure that it goes down through the coarse salt. At this point, the only thing left to do is to add the cinnamon sticks to the solution we are preparing.
