The first thing to do is to take some apples and cut them into medium or small pieces. You will place these pieces inside a jar, together with the peels and the core. At this point you will only need to add a little water to fill the jar. The apples and leftovers, however, should fill about half a jar.

After these operations have been carried out, it will be the turn of the sugar. It is advisable to add one large spoonful of sugar for every 250 millilitres of water. Then it will be necessary to mix everything together so that the sugar dissolves well.

Now all you have to do is to cover the bottle with cotton wool, so that no insects or mosquitoes can enter the bottle. Keep the mixture in a cool, dark place for about 15 days and mix everything at least once a day.

As the days go by, the liquid will get darker and darker, due to the natural fermentation process. Once the required 15 days have passed, you can filter the liquid, separating it from the various apple pieces and residues.
