You’d never have believed it, but the aluminum foil roll, safely tucked away in the kitchen drawer, can save the day in an invaluable way. And no, its capabilities aren’t just limited to keeping your food warm or cooking the dish of the day. Even in the bathroom, its versatility will save you untold time! Yes, it’s perfectly capable of cleaning the toilet tank. The latter spends all its time turning yellow because of those pesky limescale deposits that build up over time. And you can’t stand scrubbing it all the time without really satisfying results. No more exhaustion! The solution is below.

How do you go about it?

Put on your gloves, arm yourself with a good sheet of aluminum foil and rub the area for a few minutes.
Better still, to anticipate and prevent the appearance of these unsightly stains, simply make 3 balls of aluminium foil and put them directly into the toilet tank. The inside wall will always remain clean and white. You’ll be amazed at the results. As an added bonus, this also works on models with a suspended tank.

Another tip
While we’re at it, we suggest you try out a similar trick when doing your laundry.

How does it work?

Roll up 2 or 3 balls of aluminum foil and place them in the washing machine drum, along with the dirty laundry.
Program any cycle with your usual detergent.
As the machine whirls, the balls will dissolve soap residue and prevent static electricity.
Once out of the machine, you’ll notice that your clothes are completely wrinkle-free, and even look as if they’ve already been ironed.
