Baking soda

If you want to eliminate these spores, use baking soda when maintaining your bathtub joints. In addition to eliminating mold, this white powder eliminates limescale, dirt and can whiten these surfaces. Start by forming a paste by mixing a cup of baking soda with a quarter cup of water. This mixture must be consistent and homogeneous. Apply this paste to the tile joints and leave to act for 30 minutes. Using a toothbrush, scrub these traces of mold before rinsing everything with hot water. It is recommended to ventilate after this task to dry the bathtub.

The lemon

To combat these fungi caused by high humidity, you can opt for a gentler solution. To prepare the product, mix the juice of a lemon with a glass of hot water and the same quantity of white vinegar, an essential household ingredient. Soak a cloth with this preparation  and rub vigorously before rinsing.

Bleach and hydrogen peroxide
