Descale the toilet tank with an infallible technique

Given how much water flows through the toilet bowl and its plumbing, and how frequently it is used, it is inevitable that scale and dirt will build up. This is well known, but few people think of effective toilet tank treatment.

Here’s a simple method you can use to effectively remove limescale and dirt from your toilet tank.

1- What you need :

Baking soda. Baking soda.

-White vinegar.

– A big sponge.

– Un bottle vaporisateur.

2- N-clean and descale the toilet tank:

  • First turn off the water tap.
  • Empty the container by flushing the water through the toilet flush.
  • If you notice debris inside, remove it.
  • Sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda on the walls and bottom of the container.
  • Heat up a liter of white vinegar and spray it on all the surfaces you want to clean and descale.
  • Leave it on for a few hours, preferably overnight.
  • If the valve and float are covered in lime, remove them and soak them in a bowl of white vinegar.
  • The next day, scrub the walls and bottom of the container with a sponge or brush.
  • Don’t forget to also scrub the valve and float to descale them.
  • When everything is clean, reassemble all the parts and turn on the faucet.
  • By following these steps, you can effectively descale your toilet bowl and remove unwanted limescale.
